Come With Me for a Costco Restock: What I’m Buying Right Now

Grocery Hauls

Let’s go do a Costco restock!

It had been at least a month since I’d been to Costco, so we were VERY overdue for some essentials. I also feel like Costco has been coming out with so many fun new things recently, so obviously I wanted to see what I could find.

The plan was to restock our usual groceries and household essentials… but this is Costco, so naturally a few new snacks made their way into the cart too.

Here’s everything I picked up!

Fresh Fruit + Produce

First up, I grabbed Ripened Jackfruit Chips. I love these and they’re such a good snack to have around.

Then onto all the fresh fruit because we go through SO much of it at our house. I grabbed a big pack of SunGold kiwis, bananas, raspberries, and blackberries. The berries looked especially good and fresh this trip, so both had to come home with me.

And will it ever be safe to buy Taylor Farms salads again? Asking for a friend.

Breakfast + Easy Meal Finds

I found Teton Waters Ranch Jalapeño Cheddar Bratwurst made with 100% grass-fed beef, and they sounded SO good. I immediately thought they’d be perfect with eggs in the morning, so we’re going to give those a try.

I was also very tempted by the Realgood Chicken Bacon Ranch Roll-Ups.

Anything from Amylu is usually good, so I grabbed their Maple Chicken Patties too. Another easy option to have around for breakfast or a quick meal.

And, of course, a big pack of pasture-raised eggs came home with me.

One of My Costco Staples

I started getting a little nervous when I couldn’t find the Cello Copper Kettle Shaved Parmesan Cheese because I thought they had discontinued it.

Thankfully, we found it!

This is one of those Costco staples I’m always restocking because we use Parmesan on EVERYTHING around here.

The Snack Aisles Got Me

This is where things started getting dangerous.

First, I found the LesserEvil Space Balls and had heard they were really good, so obviously we needed to try them. Plus, Costco sells them in a GIANT bag, which I’m not mad about.

I also spotted Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt Cups in vanilla caramel and fudge chip. Yasso frozen yogurt is SO good, and these were extremely tempting.

Then I saw Alani Nu Witch’s Brew, but somehow managed to walk away because I actually already have quite a bit at home.

Self-control!

Cereal + Granola Restock

I’ve been loving loaded cereal bowls lately, so I grabbed Catalina Crunch Cinnamon Toast cereal to try.

I’ve also been wanting to try That’s it. Fruitola in strawberry. It’s basically granola made with dried fruit, and I was way too intrigued to leave it behind.

Then we stocked up on Cole’s favorite Purely Elizabeth cookie granola.

Our cereal bowl situation is officially SET.

A Few More Sweet Snacks

Obviously, I had to restock our SkinnyDipped Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites while I was there. These are always good to have around when I want something sweet.

And then I found Joolies Watermelon Date Sours.

Date. Sours.

I was WAY too intrigued not to try those, so into the cart they went.

Household Essentials

Then came the very exciting portion of the Costco trip: household supplies.

We were somehow out of basically ALL of our household essentials at the same time, so I grabbed a giant pack of Ziploc bags, toilet paper, paper towels, and a big tub of dishwasher pods.

Nothing exciting here, but this is the part of Costco that saves me from realizing we’re out of paper towels again approximately three days from now.

And, Of Course… Costco Golf Balls

Last but not least, the ONE thing Cole specifically requested from Costco: golf balls.

I had no idea Costco golf balls were a thing, but apparently they are.

Request fulfilled.

The Parking Lot Taste Test

I’m always a little shocked by the number of people at Costco at 9:15 a.m. on a random Wednesday.

It was already PACKED in there, but we made it out alive and I think I actually got everything I needed.

Before leaving, though, I obviously needed to crack open the LesserEvil Space Balls.

First impression: they smell SUPER cheesy.

At first I wasn’t totally sure about them… and then I kept eating them.

If you grew up eating Utz cheese balls, you know exactly what I’m talking about. They reminded me of those, and they ended up being pretty tasty.

So yes, the giant bag passed the parking lot taste test.

A Successful Costco Restock

Calling this one a successful shopping trip!

We restocked the produce, breakfast staples, cereal and granola, sweet snacks, Parmesan, and all of the boring household things we desperately needed.

And naturally, I came home with a few new things I absolutely did not go to Costco planning to buy.

But honestly… isn’t that half the reason you go to Costco?

Thanks for coming with me!
